From time to time, on Wednesday, at 7:30pm CEST / 10:30 PDT a SecureDrop developer reads a part of the codebase they are familiar with and comment it for anyone curious to know more. Questions and criticisms are welcome.

• securedrop-admin sdconfig sets securedrop_supported_locales in site-config which is used to create config.py as a list
• text direction and lang for RFC 5646 are set globally in journalist and source templates
• the language menu in the journalist and source interfaces capitalize language names

• Jinja template filters using CLDR via babel for dates and units l10n
