Just a heads up that Freedom of the Press Foundation is seeking to fill a new position, the role of Newsroom Services Coordinator. This role provides tier 1 support for SecureDrop, but also handles client intake for our digital security training and consulting services, and a lot of other logistics & documentation related to our work with news organizations.
You don’t need to know everything about SecureDrop to apply for this job. This is a great role for an excellent communicator who is very well-organized, and who wants to start a career in nonprofit tech. The role is remote-friendly in US time zones.
