Here is an idea to clarify the intent of the liberapay SecureDrop. Instead of establishing an intermediate recipient to which the funds are released, volunteers are invited to be part of the SecureDrop team. Each member pledges to withdraw funds according to the proposed workflow.
This removes unecessary structure and clarifies who gets control of the money from the donator point of view.

Good idea, it isn’t worse than max take * amount of undeserving potential takers, which if any is a sound investment nontheless.
